We grow multiple types here at the farm.

There are over 150 types known, each with their own leaf shape, aroma, flavor profile, and even color.

Basil has been cultivated for over 5,000 years!

The word basil is derived from a Greek word that means 'royal'. It's a good source of vitamin K, A, & C, manganese, copper, calcium, iron, Omega 3's and more!

It's commonly used in it's raw form in pesto and such, but it can be used in cooked dishes as well. Never throw out the stems because they taste delicious too! Add them to a stock or soup as a flavoring element, or chop them and throw them in a stir fry.

These are our Walla Walla Sweet Onions we just harvested!

People have been eating onions for over 7000 years! Back in the middle ages they were an acceptable form of currency.

Never feed them to your dogs! It'll weaken their red blood cells and that can lead to awful stuff.

They're excellent for Osteoporosis and can help fight an array of diseases thanks to quercetin, a powerful flavonoid antioxidant.

The biggest onion ever was 18 pounds!

Sliced onion can sooth insect bites and burns.

They're an awesome aromatic that improves any dish! Okay, maybe this one is an opinion.

Roast. Saute. Pickle. Dehydrate. Grill. Caramelize.
